Founded in 2023, Olivia Cooper and Higher Ministry was born from a divine opportunity and a willing “yes.” After being recommended by friend Kaeleb Donaldson to participate in a Black History program, Olivia Cooper gathered a collective of passionate young students from Norfolk State University who shared a heart for Christ and a love for music. What began as a single moment of obedience quickly blossomed into Higher Ministry.

Rooted in authentic worship and heartfelt ministry, the group sings, worships, and ministers wherever they are called—carrying a sound that blends sincerity, power, and unity. Their highly anticipated debut single, Be Still, releases on March 6, 2026, following a powerful live recording session in February 2025 that captured the heart of their worship experience. As they prepare for this milestone release, Higher Ministry is prayerfully and intentionally curating the remainder of their music for a Summer 2026 EP release.

With every note, Olivia Cooper and Higher Ministry seek to create space for God’s presence—inviting listeners to pause, reflect, and encounter Him in a deeper way.
